Topics vary from being individualized, such as how to approach young children to gain their cooperation during assessment, to more generic topics, including assessing vital signs and pain in children. |
Grown UpCaring for Adolescents, Adults and Aging Adults Addresses population/age-specific topics from adolescence through the geriatric years. Again, topics may be individualized to a specific age-group, such as elderly abuse, to topics impacting all age-groups, such as reducing medical errors and understanding HIV. |
Growing FamiliesCaring for Childbearing Families & Neonates Addresses topics related to the maternity patient in the antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum periods. Also, topics related to assessment and care of the neonate, are included. |
